About Najad » Why Choose Najad? » The Hull Laminate Structure

The hull is the only single part in a boat that cannot be exchanged. It is therefore most important to spend the highest possible attention to both method and materials. 

The vacuum infusion method is used for both decks and hulls, for all Najad boats. 

This gives us best control over the process. (The method is also environment friendly). We are also using glass fiber and resin from the best suppliers. All of this combined results in a long and comprehensive warranty.

1. The outer skin consists of bidirectional glass fabrics.

2. The core is polymer foam so called Divinycell.

3. The inner skin consists of bidirectional glass fabrics.

4. All of the gaps between the core blocks are filled with resin.

5. 50% glass content in the laminate.

6.  All skin fittings mounted in recesses.

7. Inside of the hull painted with Topcoat.
