Sailing a Najad 570 from Kiel to Henån after the Hamburg Boat Show required a keen sailing sense, no fear of snow, and the ability to enjoy winds of over 40 knots.

Song of the Ocean is a Najad 511 owned by Iain and Janet Simpson, who are currently having their third Najad, a 570, constructed.
This epic journey is accompanied by some superb photography and a great 'diary' of the journey that will be of interest to any keen sailor.

The largest trans-ocean sailing event in the world, every year the ARC brings together over 200 yachts from all over the world. The Caribbean destination is Rodney Bay in St.Lucia, one of the most beautiful islands in the Lesser Antilles. The 2700 nautical mile passage was undertaken by the owners of the N570 Weir Kraken.

Since 1990 yachtsmen from all over the world have converged on Turkey to participate in the Eastern Mediterranean Yacht Rally. Beginning with a small fleet of 17 boats, the rally has expanded to include a cruising fleet of over 100 boats.
