Najad 355

Najad 355

Intended as a fast, safe and comfortable passage-maker of moderate proportions, the Najad 355 is nonetheless a compelling mix of practicality with style and, like all of our yachts, it is exquisitely well made.

Narrow V-shaped entry sections fore and U-shaped sections aft offer good form stability for strong upwind performance, excellent sea-keeping ability and fast downwind sailing.

A deep aft-cockpit provides a welcome sense of security at sea and when the need arises, we’ve ensured plenty of elbow room for safe handling of the yacht in all kinds of conditions.

Ample cockpit and transom lockers will swallow large items of equipment and lines led aft are contained in purpose made bins – positioned on either side of the wheel - for a tidier looking, safer and more comfortable cockpit area.

With sufficient standing headroom in most areas down below, owners and guests will welcome a sense of calmness, with less clutter and plenty of useable storage and living space. Hand polished mahogany and dark wood joinery have been contrasted together to project warmth and quality in every cabin.

Designed in co-operation with Najad, judel vrolijk & co and Rhoades Young, refinements such as leather covered grab rails, dimmer switches and self-closing galley drawers make life onboard that little bit more special. All in all, the 355 is a fine way to start enjoying Najad.

"Edmund Burke's 18th-century aesthetic notion that a large thing may be sublime, but only small things can be beautiful, applies to boats. A beautifully executed small sailboat can be utterly yachtlike. The Najad 355 is a fine example."

Sail Magazine

"The Najad 355 will not only put a smile on your face on the water during the day, she'll give you a comfortable night afterwards too."

Yachting World

"The Boat of The Year judges found lots on which to agree as they proclaimed the Najad 355 to be the Best Small Cruiser of 2008: great sails, solid motion through the water, practical interior, well-laid-out deck. There was, however, one point of contention during the sea trials: Who should get to steer next? This boat was a hoot to sail."
